My client is working on a global scale project to replicate the amazing growth they have had from the success of their recent Ecommerce roll out.

You will be a member of a small Test Team responsible for creating and performing industry standard test and assurance activities including verification and validation using both manual and automated test tools

Provide technical direction and guidance to the user groups, partners and suppliers and to engage other members of the team to assist in the completion of tasks.

You will also be a primary point of contact for the test stream to other parts of ecomm and partners.

*this will be to join for an intitial 6 months contract but there it is likely that this will be a long term engagement*

Success of this role is measured by:

Contribution in achieving IS KPI targets, in particular defect reduction targets.

Specifically meeting agreed targets for delivery of testing within the Customer base.

Achieving appraisal objectives.

Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL
  • Proven ability in test execution - all areas (System Integration, Non Functional, UAT, OAT, SMAT).
  • Gained a recognised IT qualification or equivalent.
  • Have a proven track record of working within a medium to large IS organisation.
  • In depth experience of test scripting, planning and execution for UAT / OAT / SMAT Test plans, Test Cases and Scenarios
  • In depth experience and exposure to HPE ALM including configuration

  • Performance Test Tools
  • Integration Tools
  • Selenium
  • ALMDESIRABLEISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing ESSENTIALDemonstrate an aptitude to understand the business requirements.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. It is important that the jobholder can liaise confidently with all levels of staff.Must be able to work under own initiative to effectively diagnose and solve problems.
