Embedded Software Engineer, C, ARM, RTOS, Berkshire, 6 months, £43-£47phTHE PROJECT:
A fast growing Electronics business in Berkshire have an immediate contract requirement for an experienced & self-starting Embedded Software Engineer.
For this role you should be a confident Embedded C programmer, who has experience working in a fast paced environment.
You will have the opportunity to work on a 'brand new' product development for a Low Powered device. Experience working on products (such as handheld devices) which has memory constraints would be advantageous. Experience optimising or controlling power would be ideal.
Aside from Embedded C, you should have RTOS experience and ideally worked with the ARM processor (however other Microcontroller/ Microprocessor experience will be considered).
The ideal candidate is someone who is a low level programmer, who understands the bare bones of Embedded Software!
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Strong Embedded C
2. RTOS
3. Microprocessor experience (ideally ARM 9 or 11)
4. Low Power Device experience is desirable (i.e. understanding how to optimise power)
5. Eclipse (desirable)
6. You should demonstrate experience working to tight deadlines
LOCATION: Bracknell, Berkshire (commutable from Maidenhead, Reading, Slough, Basingstoke, Newbury)
