C# MVC Web Developer - 9 month contract - Bolton - £300 to £350/dayA leading client based in Bolton are looking to bring on a Contract C# Web Developer, with strong skills in ASP.Net and MVC, to work on a number of key projects for a 9 month contract.
They are looking at making major changes to their customer facing live website, as well as their internal intranet systems, developing new features and functionality alongside the rest of the development team reporting directly into the Project Manager and IT Development Manager.
The right person will have experience working on web based applications, both internal and customer facing, ideally with experience working on high transactional sites. Some of the key skills and technologies they require are listed below, however they are looking for someone that is more front end focused, and someone that is more backend/middletier focused, so if you are missing particular skills on either the frontend or the backend, then you will still be considered.
- C#
- ASP.Net MVC
- Experience of working on an Ecommerce platform
- Cross Browser technologies (HTML / CSS / JavaScript - Mainly JQuery)
- Strong core principals, ideally including Unit testing, TDD, and N-Tier architecture
- SQL Server ideally using T-SQL and Store Procedures
For the right person, this role will last much longer than the initial 9 months as there are huge expansion plans for both their internal and external sites.
They are looking to pay market rates, ranging from £300 to £350/day depending on experience.
