Contract length: 2-3 months with likely extension
My client is a large specialist consultancy, and is looking for a Senior iOS contractor to be based on-site in Gibraltar at one of their key clients. Their end client is a large betting and gaming company; one of the biggest in the world, and have many existing and Greenfield based projects which require immediate assistance within the native mobile remit. Your role will involve being a Senior iOS Developer on a project developing a new iOS app for this well-known betting/gaming client. It is imperative you can hit the ground running in an innovative and fresh team.
Key skills:
- Highly skilled in objective-c (although swift is a bonus, they are not looking to write the app in it yet)
- Worked on the latest versions of iOS 8 and soon to be 9
- Development of native iOS mobile apps
- Automation testing - Use of GIT and Jenkins
- Great communication skills
- Passion for problem solving with an inquisitive nature
- Ability to adapt within an agile environment
- Working knowledge of design patterns
- Be able to advise on platform best practice
- Knowledge of application submission (has published apps in the App Store) and what it takes to create a great iOS application
Desirable Skills: - Any experience within the betting/gaming industry Contract Location: Gibraltar - all expenses, i.e. travel and accommodation Contract Length: 2-3 Months with likely extensions Contract Rate: £375 - £470 per day This is a requirement to start in January so the client are willing to wait for notice periods.
