We are currently looking for a VMware 2nd line/3rd Line Support Analyst (Contract) for my client based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Job Summary:
Provide a high level of practical technical ability supporting existing and future systems.
Management, installation and configuration of all server operating systems, roles and applications, including IIS, SCCM,DNS,DFS
Strong operational knowledge of, or working towards, the following technologies:-
MS SQL Server â DBA/Development
CITRIX
VMware/Hyper-V
MS SharePoint â Administrator
MS Exchange - administration/configuration
SAN â administration/configuration
Knowledge/Skills:
Citrix
VMWare
Server administration and support of: Windows Server 2003, 2008 and some 2012
WDS is used for deployment/imaging
Sophos anti-virus
Laptops/desktops running Win7/8.1 with Office plus various and numerous curriculum software titles.
Switches and networking using HP and Cisco
Tablet support: iPad, Windows and Android device
Working within a structured framework such as ITIL.
Telephony (VoIP), preferably Avaya PBX.
Wireless Devices/Server
Linux
Hardware maintenance
