VB/VB.NET Senior Developer (IT Consultancy) - 6 Month Contract, Dublin City Centre
VB/VB.NET Senior Developer Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to deliver high quality coded solutions using prescribed technologies. As Senior Developer you will be required to understand business objectives and translate this knowledge into coded solutions.
What's involved:
Deliver tailored results utilizing your technical competency and industry knowledge
Proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of issues and defects
Software Engineering in either or both SDLC and/or Agile Environment (Scrum)
Establish & develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
What you need:
Experience working on both new-build and maintenance programs in banking or finance industry
Strong experience working with VB6 (or higher)/SQL 2005 developments and VB.NET
Familiarity with structured SDLC methodologies
Experience ensuring adherence to architectural policies and standards (Compliance)
