My client is looking for a Database Developer (with at least 9 years of experience in the domain described as specific experience in the below details) for a very long term contract opportunity in Brussels, Belgium.The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
In particular the following services will be provided:
. Participate to requirements analysis and prototyping.
. Data analysis, Datamodelling, database design and development.
. Design, implementation and maintenance of database layer, database components and database stored procedures.
. Writing of technical documentation.
. Design, implementation and maintenance of software components for web-based applications principally in Oracle, J2EE/Java, HTML.
. Integration between applications; database integration with applications.
. Participation in meetings with project teams.
Working language is English. A very good command of the English language is mandatory.
The successful candidate with have the following specific expertise:
. Oracle, RDBMS and SQL.
. Java technology and J2EE architectures. Java tools and frameworks:
. Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate. IntelliJ, Eclipse.
. Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.).
. XML, XSLT
Expertise in the following domains would be an asset.
. Java tools and frameworks: Weblogic, Groovy, Grails, Spring Webflow, Activiti workflow, ehCache, JPA.
. Front End frameworks: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Kendo or similar.
. Agile, Scrum, RUP (Rational Unified Process) or similar methodology.
. UML (Unified Modelling Language) or equivalent, Case Tools.
. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
