Description

Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a Media Officer on an initial 3 month contract. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for providing a responsive media relations service and assisting in the development of strategic communication plans.

You will be:

. Managing the organisation's media strategy and day-to-day media relations
. Providing media advice within the organisation
. Developing communication plans around change major initiatives
. Contribute to the organisation's wider communications team

Essential skills/experience

. Degree in PR, Communications or Media equivalent, or equivalent experience
. Experience in a fast moving PR environment
. Good knowledge of digital communications channels
. Experience of managing PR and delivering communication strategies
