Next Ventures are current;y executing a search for an experienced SUN financials Business analyst
Role Overview:
Serves as a part of a team responsible for delivering a new suite of products to Finance departments across Asia Pacific
Finance Process in scope includes Accounts Payable, with the implementation of a Kofax Imaging workflow/approval tool which will interface to the GL Accounting system
Focus is firstly on Sydney implementation. Other locations scheduled in - Hong Kong and Singapore, with future offshore processing in India. Legal entities in scope total 16.
Reports directly to local SME/BA based in Sydney
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist PM with the documentation of Testing Strategy bringing together the many phases - assisting with Systems Integration Testing, Quality Assurance Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Business User Acceptance Testing
Assist with testing plans, communication, monitoring results and ensuring any issues escalated and resolved
Assist the US Global Process Owner of Accounts payable to develop and document the Future State support model and ensure all activities are covered
Act as liaison between users, developers, testers and implementation
Work with the US Training team to set-up and implement training plans, documentation, curriculum development and application training delivery for each location
Complete internal product documentation as required - Business Continuity Plans and Risk Management Assessments
Assist with Operational Readiness tasks and deployment tasks as assigned
Work with the US teams for QA and FSR (Financial systems Review) to meet their requirements
Take ownership of the development of Reporting and Dashboard requirements and documentation. Set up KPI's and operational tracking using the Agility tool
Assist US and Local Business Architecture team with standardising of business processes and involving the Global process owners. Assist the business in identifying ways to maximise operational efficiency, quality and compliance
Adhoc tasks as part of a project team committed to meeting deadlines
Skills Required:
Strong analytical skills to understand how to interpret business needs and translate into application and operational requirements
Ability to critically evaluate info from various sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need
Strong writing and verbal communication with attention to accuracy and quality
Understanding of Accounts Payable processes, systems and technology necessary to support Finance department operations
Deadline focussed and experience working in a multi-national corporation
Experience and Education:
2+ years in a Accounts Payable role
5+ years in a Projects role
Strong Microsoft Office skills on Windows including: Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Visio preferred
Global Organisation
Flexible work hours to communicate part day with US Head office
Flexibility to have conference calls outside of normal 9-5 AEST business hours
