Oracle Retail Business Expert required by Pegasus ERP for an exciting Project based in London to work as part of the clients project team tasked with the delivery of capabilities into the targeted operating markets and will form part of the wider architectural CoE team, following appropriate design standards, target architectures and governance processes to maximise design and delivery. As part of this global project, travel to European locations will be required

Skills and Experience Required:

As a Oracle Retail Business Subject Matter Expert you will be aligned to specific business units and be an expert in their solutions and capabilities in order to analyse, model and challenge requirements with your customers to meet the needs of the business units. You will:

Overall the role of the Business Subject Matter Expert is to work with the BAs and the business to ensure that

  • the requirements are gathered,
  • the To Be processes are designed, and
  • the solution meets the needs of the business.
  • Also contribute to UAT and training.
  • Support users through Go live
  • Assess & follow through any emerging change requests

In essence they " own " the solution on behalf of the business and are key to making sure it does what the business need & expect.

The role evolves over time with the life cycle of a project, ie through Design/Build/Test/Go live

Currently we have BEs assigned to each of our 3 projects

  • Strategic & Range Planning
  • Master Data ( Oracle RMS and allocations )
  • PLM
  • Have experience of Merchandising systems, ideally Oracle RPAS MFP, AP & IP
  • Good understanding of the Merchandising and Planning processes and touch points with other divisions
  • Experience of working on projects with complex integration and data from multiple systems
  • Good understanding of Merchandise Planning Reporting needs
