We are currently looking for a number of experienced ETL Developer with ServiceNow experience.
Working as part of the engineering team, which is a part of Global Technology group. The team is responsible for the architecture, design and development of tools used for Event, Capacity, Configuration, Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Role:
The engineering team is responsible for strategic infrastructure CMDB. This is an Oracle database which consolidates ITSM information from golden sources for management/operational reporting and driving ITIL processes.
The role is to work within the engineering team, analysing golden source data, designing and extending the data model and creating optimized ETL (extract, transform and load) jobs into the appropriate systems. The goal is to create a world class CMDB fulfilling requirements for historical, Real Time, operational and management reporting.
Qualified candidates must have Oracle and ETL experience, preferably in an enterprise environment. It is advantageous if candidates have worked within the ITSM discipline. Candidates must be collaborative, client focused, analytical, technically curious with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Essential Skills:
- Experience ETL developer
- Thorough knowledge of ETL tools
- Datamodelling/warehousing (design and implementation)
- ETL (Pentaho, SAP Data Services)
- Experience with ServiceNow
- SQL
- Database design and administration (Oracle 10g, 11g)
- Oracle performance optimisation
- Oracle 11+, SQL,Windows Server 2008
- Excellent communications skills in each of the following areas:
- Working with users in joint analysis and design sessions.
- Written communications, both technical and non-technical.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to end-users.
- Ability to quickly build relationships across multiple teams
- Ensure quality IT delivery through the application of standards and technology design principles
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to DBGT's standards and procedures

- Business Objects and reporting knowledge would be an advantage
