Software Developer - ETA (Environment, Tools and Automation)
Required Job Qualifications and Competences
You must have a university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of experience in product management and an in-depth fundamental knowledge of mobile communication.
The candidate enjoys working in teams with an exceptional track record of innovation and people skills with ability to work in a multinational, multi-site cross-functional teams/program set-up. Additional we believe the candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills, with excellent skills in oral and written English. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
ETA is a team responsible for our design environment, tools, and automation. The services are utilized by many products developed by several organizations across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will work within this Global agile team, interacting with all our software developing teams, both within our Classic and RM products, to realize improvements and give support within the Environment, Tools and Automation area.
The main responsibility for the ETA-team is to ease up the daily work for all our developers by eg look into and improve the user environment, provide the developer tools, shorten our CI lead time via automated job, fast feedback loops in general and be the interface towards the ITTE organization.
Working with continues improvements is also part of the role.
You must:
Have a university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Have strong object-oriented programming skills (preferably JAVA)
Have strong skills in Scripting in general, eg. Python, Shell
Have experience of Eclipse, Git, and Gerrit
Be a team player
Have positive attitude with a passion to win
Any of the following is considered a merit:
Experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA, web services, REST)
Experience of Linux systems
Experience of agile development
Experience of infrastructure/IP Networks
