SQL DBA
We have an exciting opening with a leading Global IT Consulting Organization for a "MS Exchange & Lync Support Engineer". It's an immediate hire and planning to close it ASAP.
Position Title: SQL DBA
Location of work: Madrid,Spain
Position Type: Contract
Language: Spanish & English
SQL DBA following experience & Skills/Knowledge:
- Worked with developers to tune the SQL queries using SQL Profiler.
- Provided 7 x 24 production support for the database and application issues.
- Suggested disk capacity, processors and memory based on the capacity planning.
- Updating with latest service packs and security patches.
- Maintain all the SQL documents includes installation and data conversion procedures documents.
- Solved critical production problems and performed point in time recovery plans.
- Deployment of all SSIS packages, SSRS RDL files, DDL/DML scripts to UAT, support,
- Development, DR and Production environment.
- Daily Health-Check of SQL Server for database online, backups, Jobs, Space checking on server.
- Working on request from developers to make changes on SQL Server.
- Troubleshooting performance issues on SQL Server.
checking requirements prior to migration and taking all backups, updating statistics and Indexes. - Installing SQL Server on in-place or side-by-side on server or Clustered Servers.
- Coordinating with developers and application support for changes to be made before and after migration.
