Work according to the latest methods within complex IT projects. As Dev Engineer Oracle you fulfill in a professional team of Development- and Operations Engineers (DevOps team) a major IT substantive role in the maintaining, development and testing of one or more high-tech applications. For this assignment you will work at an important application that provides the reporting information to the Corporate Customers in CAMT and MT940 format. You will work in 1 of 5 BTR scrum teams. In each scrum team people with different skills participate: analyzing-, testing-, Oracle-, WTX- and TIBCO skills.
Main tasks / focus areas Senior Oracle Specialist (QR3588) :
Advise upon and develop database for Online/Real time use and processing large batch files
mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database;
refining the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model, design table structure;
further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements;
maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act;
writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata);
capacity planning;
Tuning the database;
Build and Deploy new packages;
Build and optimize queries;
Production support
Coach the more junior Oracle developers in the scrum teams;

They are not only first in concrete innovations in the IT field, but also in the process followed to design, build and test applications as well as the process of taking in management, manage and ultimately decommisioning applications. In this way they are constantly working on optimizing the service to its customers and to further strengthen its leading position in the market.

You are an expert Oracle Dev Engineer. You are substantively strong and you're aiming to achieve the best in your work and concrete results. You understand better than anyone what the needs and wishes of your (internal) customers in the field of IT and moreover you are a true team player. You are also able to coach colleagues and give them constructive feedback.
You also have: Senior Oracle Specialist (QR3588)
- Minimum Bachelor degree;
- A minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in a complex IT environment;
- You are an experienced Oracle Dev engineer,
- Knowledge of TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS Server, TIBCO Administrator and AMX; and/or WTX is a preference;
- Experience with Continuous Delivery is preferred. You control the English language very well spoken and written
