A great opportunity has arisen in a leading Global IT services company for a System Support Specialist based in Prague, Czech Republic. As a System Support Specialist you will be responsible for serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and single point of contact (SPOC) for all topics related to the archiving tool and underlying infrastructure systems. This is a 6 month contract to start ASAP.
As a System Support Specialist, your main responsibilities will be:
-Archiving SME, 100%, CZPR
-Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and single point of contact (SPOC) for all topics related to the archiving tool and underlying infrastructure systems.
-Designs adequate (fit-for-purpose, fit-for-use) archiving tool and infrastructure systems required to provide the service and to deliver the agreed level of service.
-Keen to get to know the full range of a Data Archiving tool and functionality and become an Expert
-Ensures necessary documentation (eg technology and product specifications) is aligned and agreed.
-Assumes the responsibility that the archiving tool and infrastructure is customized and maintained according to the needs.
Your skills & Experience are:
-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent science and/or business education.
-Close to 8 years of related experience
-Deep understanding of Database technology (Oracle, SQL Server) and strong affinity to Datamodelling and data transformation technology/tools (ODBC)
