Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coding and Unit Testing of assigned Technical Designs.

- Understand and follow version control and coding standards.

- Produce Unit Testing documentation as input to code walk-through processes.

- Submit SCM (Software Configuration Mgmt) Migration Requests to CCB SME's for approval.

SKILLS NEEDED

- Must have strong technical skills with extensive hands]on experience developing customizations for the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) 2.4 application

- Must have good knowledge of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework

- Must have a good understanding of relational database concepts, strong knowledge of the CC&B data model, advanced SQL skills, and good knowledge of Unix

- Must have advanced knowledge in at least 2 of the following technologies:

CCB specific Micro]focus Cobol including multi]threaded high performance batch processing

CCB specific Java including Oracle Utilities SDK, Eclipse 3.7, and Hibernate Query Language, with experience writing high performance, multi]threaded, critical java application extensions

Oracle Database Components (Stored Procedures, Triggers, PLSQL, etc; Oracle 11g, 12c)

CCB Configuration Tools (Scripting(BS,SS), portals, UI maps, Zones)

Web based languages (e.g. XAI Web Services, HTML, XML, SOAP, JavaScript, etc.)

- Candidates should have broad functional knowledge of CC&B in at least 2 core functional areas (Billing, Payments, Credit and Collection and Financials) including good knowledge of CCB Configuration

- Prefer candidates with the ability to author detailed technical specifications from functional designs
