Description

I am currently looking for a developer with a minimum of 2 years commercial ruby on rails experience is needed for an initial 6 month contract.

Your role will involve :

* Enhancing and maintaining systems applications using Ruby on Rails, based on end user requests and design specifications

* Creating new and modifying existing web applications using Ruby on Rails and other web technologies

* Analyzing and troubleshooting reported issues with application functionality

* Identify and recommend improvements in legacy source code structure and design with respect to performance and maintenance efficiency

* Performing unit and system testing

* Keep current with changing technology and applying it to business needsRequirements :

* Fluency with object oriented design patterns

* Experience with Testing is a plus

* 2+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience required

* Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server is required.

* Excellent application design and programming ability

* Excellent interpersonal skills in written and verbal communications with both technical and non-technical personnel.

This will be an initial 6 month contract but there will be options to extend.

You must hold a stamp 4 Visa or an EU passport to be eligable for the position.
