ServiceNow Developer
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer.
Key tasks and deliverables:
- The ServiceNow Developer will deliver services that meet the Digital by Default Service Standard.
- This role is key in designing, building and maintaining the ServiceNow (TechNow) applications as part of a multi-functional agile delivery team.
- Configure the ServiceNow standard applications
- Build and test new applications within the ServiceNow Platform
- Implement APIs and Web services for internal and external use
- Maintain the suite of ServiceNow applications
- Build ServiceNow applications, capable of serving high-volume transactions
- Implement APIs and Web services for internal and external use, connecting ServiceNow with external suppliers and consumers of ServiceNow data.
- Build up a robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment
- Take part in 2nd-line support of the ServiceNow applications and platform, including occasional support outside of office hours
- Effectively use Responsive Web Design
- Design and maintain public HTTP APIs
- Handle large data sets and scale their handling and storage.
Experience Required:
- JavaScript experience
- XML
- HTML/CSS
- Web Services (SOAP)
Desired experience:
- Other web based technologies (like knowledge of JSON/HTTP)
- ITIL Foundation
- Education: Computer Science background preferred
