Our client, a leading Publishing Company based in London is looking to recruit a Content Developer.
The main responsibilities for the Content Developer include:

ensuring that transformation scripts follow the content architecture team's development policies;

analysing content processing requirements and building or adapting appropriate content processing systems;

working with editors, product managers and software developers to implement tools that efficiently utilise content markup;

contributing to the development and customisation of editorial tools and products that utilise XML markup;
-
documenting tools and scripts according to the CA team's policies;
-
ensuring CA team assets are managed in a secure source control environment.
The ideal candidate for the Content Developer role must have experience with some or all of the following technologies:
-
XML Schema
-
RelaxNG
-
DTDs
-
Schematron
-
XQuery
-
XML databases such as eXist and MarkLogic
-
build tools including antand Jenkins
