Communication Support Officer - Finance - Creative Writing

Our banking client is looking for a Communication Support Officer for a 6 month initial contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about communication and who will play a key role within the Programme at the bank. You will support the development and implementation of the communication strategy.

Working across the whole centre you will provide effective and efficient communications ensuring the employees within the centre are engaged through a variety of different forms of communication. You must be an enthusiastic and highly motivated team player with the ability to contribute to the quality and content of all communications within the Programme.

You will be forward thinking and innovative and have the experience of business communications with an interest in how good communication can support the success of the centre. You will need a positive, flexible approach with excellent communication and organisational skills to be able to remain organised whilst dealing with multiple requests is essential as is a keen eye for detail and a sound knowledge of different methods of communication using the most effective approaches.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

. Support the delivery of communication and incentives within the Programme
. Engage with key stakeholders to ensure key messages are delivered within agreed time scales
. Ensure communication process is followed
. Ensure communication is tracked and measured
. Ensure communication is presented accurately, to a high standard and in the appropriate tone of voice, in line with the business house style and brand guidelines
. Anticipate and respond to changing and emerging internal and external communication
. Support delivery of material and content for all communication including branding for the centre
. Act as an ambassador and champion of communication

Experience & skills

. Relevant work experience within a Communications team
. Creative writing skills to support award nominations and general communication
. Good interpersonal skills
. Confident and competent use of Microsoft office/publisher
. Excellent writer and verbal communication skills specifically with the ability to present ideas and information clearly
. Strong organisational skills

. Ability to use own initiative
. The ability to multi task whilst working accurately to tight deadlines
. Commitment to high standards of quality communication
. Ability to work calmly under pressure
. Personable, proactive and able to develop effective and professional working relationships
. Willingness to be flexible in working hours when necessary
