I am representing a London based local government agency who are currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to carry out a SharePoint 2010 - Office 365 Migration. The role requires a SharePoint Developer that has experience migrating from an on Premise to Cloud SharePoint solution, has excellent front end coding and help ease the transition for the end users post migration.
Ideally they would like the SharePoint Developer to have good technical knowledge and experience of cloud Architecture and have commercial experience with Office 365 implementations. SharePoint is used by the vast majority of people within the organization, so the SharePoint Developer must have experience of communicating with all business users.
The SharePoint Developer Required Skills and Expertise:
* SharePoint 2010 - Office 365 migration experience (Or other legacy systems)
* Office 365
* Workflows
* OOTB Functionality
* ASP.NET, C#
* HTML5, CSS, MVC, JQuery and JavaScript
* SQL Knowledge
* Azure
* User Adoption
The SharePoint Developer Desirable Skills and Expertise:
* Experience working in local government
This organization have invested a lot of time and money into SharePoint over the past 3 years and bringing in a SharePoint Developer to help them make the final move to the cloud is one that is part of a long term strategy moving forward. Contract extensions also possible for hard working and value add individuals.
The company have said they are willing to pay the successful candidate £350-£450 per day
