Description

Are you looking for a new contract? The chance to work for one of the leading telecom companies in the world in their state of the art R&D centre.

They are looking for RAS Software Experts with experience in the aerospace industry to contribute to in research and design software architecture in RAS (Reliability, Availability Serviceability), RAS technologies, features and solutions for the NFV (Network Function Virtualization), SDN (Software Defined Networking) and 5G networks.

Note: This can be based in Helsinki or Stockholm

Your Responsibilities will be:
Research in applying architecture and design technologies and life cycle process management from aerospace industry as best practice for telecom industry to guide the delivery of telecom products with aviation-grade RAS.
Research and design software architecture with very high RAS level, RAS technologies, features and solutions for meeting the RAS requirements and challenges in systems and networks.
Propose dependability strategy and roadmap planning for the software platform and products.
Participate in the related international standards organizations and forums.

Our Requirements & Qualifications:
Master or higher degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering related, Mathematics or Telecommunications;
More than 20 years R&D experience in aerospace industry;
More than 10 years software architecture or software sub-system R&D experience of large system in aerospace industry, in which include fly-by-wire or flight control system architect and design;
RAS knowledge in aerospace industry is preferred;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a multi-culture team environment.
