Proteus Europe are currently looking for a Software Developer for one of our clients based in the Midlands.Job description:
This position works within an exceptional team to deliver customer facing applications for our world leading image and video processing algorithms.
Duties will include:
- Application development: web, mobile and desktop
- API development and testing
- Demo applications design
Essential Skills Required:
- Python or NodeJS
- Android SDK or/and Objective C
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
Desirable skills:
- Qt, WPF
- C# or Java
- REST API
Experience Required:
- Solid experience of GUI application development
- Desktop application development is highly desirable
- API development and testing
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience within image processing
Other Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Ability to work on their own without direct supervision
- A flexible and agile attitude to work, with the ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects
- Excellent academic record - minimum 2:1 or equivalent at first degree level, in maths, physics, electronic engineering or other relevant discipline
