IT Project Manager - Surrey - Up to £425pday - Initial 6 month contractMy client is a leading company in the Logistics sector. They are looking for an experienced and highly focussed IT Development Project Manager to manage several concurrent projects, each of varying depth and complexity.
The main focus of this position is to take accountability for structuring, planning and leading a major development project to create a new logistics platform using offshore development teams.
As the IT Project Manager you will need the following experience:
* Several years' experience in project management using industry standard methodologies and processes
* Managing multiple parties including IT team members and 3rd party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutions
* Proven experience in working on major software development projects
* Good exposure to Agile
* Recent experience of using Atlassian Confluence and Jira
* Exposure to working with multinational development teams
* You must hold a qualification in project management such as a APMP / Prince2
This position is based in Surrey making it commutable from London (ideally South), Croydon, Guildford, Epsom, Dorking, Guildford and surrounding areas.
