Data Warehouse Analyst Functional Finance
1. Context of the mission
As part of the evolution of the data warehouse, our financial client intends to use for consultancy work within the team Datawarehouse and especially in the activity DWH Evolution (projects)
The team Bank data warehouse ensures the data warehouse management functional point of view. It manages and provides structured information reporting and decision support for all of the bank.
The service DWH project's main activities:
• Manage the data warehouse component of Finance projects and crafts and other support functions (integration of new products, supply bases third party / local reporting)
• Ensure the development of the data warehouse in accordance with the Bank's information systems
• Ensuring security of access to secret information, confidential or sensitive.
• Provides an interface between IT and the business / project
Our client has a datawarehouse Central Bank with a cross-functional coverage. This one consists of 20 dedicated data marts trades with 300 BO Reporting users.
2. Mission Specific - Scope of intervention
The share of the mission plan is based on the 2016 Finance projects that impact the data warehouse. The scope mainly concern projects and regulatory projects or information source system migration of the data warehouse for legal reporting requirements and group.
Radar Base Unique Third: "Integration of data from the new customer master data with impact analysis on the data warehouse and the various data marts and reporting regulatory risks"
IFS9: DWH impact the information and reporting system based on the new standard and constraints of group systems.
Liquidity: Analysis and implementation of a liquidity calculation solution daily
ITS Finrep: analysis, specification and supply FIRE tests for new FINREP ITS needs The consultant will strengthen the existing project activity within the data warehouse (5 people).
• Impact analysis: analysis of project needs, identification data and gap analysis. Impact studies on the current reporting component
• Charging for IT writing: writing specifications to IT, transformation rules to predict, possible mapping between local information system and external information system
• Tests and validations. Validation of IT development, monitoring of integration bases, followed by participation in tests and validations of integration to the warranty phase. Tests of non regression on current reporting.
• implement the new processes: defining new process, and attend their implementation.

3. Description of agreed specific skills
In the context of the completion of these tasks, the agreed specific skills are:
• Experienced in data warehousing Consultant (min. 5 years) with expertise in financial products, in accounting terms, and room products
• Knowledge of investment products used by the merchant bank (corporate banking) is a plus
• Knowledge of the needs in terms of data needed for regulatory reporting, risk reporting, reporting on securities used in investment products is a plus
• Experience in the realization of systems migration project is an asset
• Good experience in BI, Business Objects and SQL
• Very good analytical skills and writing
• Very good communication skills.
• Fluent French is required
