Required Job Qualifications and Competences
You must have a university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of experience in product management and an in-depth fundamental knowledge of mobile communication.
The candidate enjoys working in teams with an exceptional track record of innovation and people skills with ability to work in a multinational, multi-site cross-functional teams/program set-up. Additional we believe the candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills, with excellent skills in oral and written English. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
RM UMI is an agile team responsible for developing tools and methods for a number of our TPGs to support Solution Architects and Solutions Integrators within BUGS to be able to smoothly Upgrade, Migrate and Install these TPGs within Revenue Manager.
This is done by e.g offer an OSGi service platform where TPG's can deploy and run their application(s), provide tools for automatic creation of vApp/OVF and maintain tools and procedures for deploying applications bundled as vApp/OVF's in a virtualized environment and completed by continuously integrating artifacts from NGEE, MSV and MSG into our tools and procedures to provide an up-to-date platform for TPGs to use.
The successful candidate will work within this agile team, interacting with many of our software developing teams, cross-site, as well as the BUGS and NPS organization for support and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work in all phases of the life cycle, including design, implementation, verification, maintenance and support of this part within our products.
Working with continuous improvements is also part of the role.
You must:
Have a university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Have object-oriented programming skills (preferably JAVA)
Have experience of Eclipse, Git, and Gerrit
Have strong skills in scripting in general, eg. Python
Have strong experience in UNIX, shell
Have experience of infrastructure, IP in general
Be a team player
Have positive attitude with a passion to win
Any of the following is considered a merit:
Experience of JEE architecture and related design principles
Experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA, web services, REST)
Experience of Linux systems.
Experience of verification
Experience of agile development
Experience in Red Hat and/or VmWare
Have general knowledge about virtualization
