IT Security Engineer - Linux (Linux, Bash, Perl, Redhat)
Our Luxembourg-based client is currently looking for an IT Security Engineer role to join their offices on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
· Perform operational activities in order to maintain Linux/Unix
environments in accordance with the relevant security policies,
standards and procedures
· Identify area of improvement and propose enhancements to existing
environments
· Participate in the implementation and deployment of the new security
solutions and processes
· Maintain a high level of procedural documentation in with the
international standards of Quality Management.
Our requirements:
· Ability to work in a customer-facing role, attention to detail and a
service orientated attitude
· Fluency in written and spoken English; French or German would be a
distinct advantage
· Knowledge and understanding of the RedHat, Linux audit and security
concepts and scripting languages (e.g. Ksh, Bash, Perl) would be a
plus point
· Knowledge and understanding of the PKI concepts or Windows security
concepts or Oracle RDMS would be a plus point
