Job Description
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide Client facing role as Technical Basis Consultant at Onsite
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong customer service skills.
- Experience administering environments/components leveraging the SAP ABAP and/or JAVA technology stacks
- Responsible for the development, execution and measurement of effective SLAs applicable
- Advanced, hands-on expertise working with the SAP infrastructure and components of the SAP Basis environment, supporting SAP production environments and information security options, problem solving, and project management
- Strong Prior experience working in Large SAP Implementations and Support projects
- Managed full life cycle SAP Implementation projects, Migration and upgrade projects
- Well versed with Change Management Process and tools used for this
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Well Understanding of Onsite-Offshore model
- Experience in SAP BOBI and BODS Administration
- Database administration experience using Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, SAP HANA
- Designs, implements and tests high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
- Strong Knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Should be having exp in Backup and Recovery using NetBackup
- Have experience of latest Solution Manager functions(CHARM, E2E, System monitoring etc).
- Involve in discussion with client and carry out Gap Analysis
- Preparation of documents per SDLC process
