Senior Application Project Manager - Antwerp - 6 months+
A Senior Application Project Manager is required for a minimum of 6 months in Antwerp.
The ideal application project manager will be needed for the following:
Support of process around project management - supporting by setting up processes like instructions and templates documentation for project management in general
Manage global, regional and local IT projects with varying levels of complexity
Specify company project requests, taking into account the standard guidelines and procedure
Group, prioritize and optimize those requests
Take responsibility for gathering project requirements with stakeholders in solution design team, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures
Responsible for assembling project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
Assist the business in developing risk mitigation strategies for changes
Participate in change go/no go decisions
Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure commitment dates and project deliverables are met
Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget
Technical skills:
Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
Additional PMI certification is a plus
Personal skills:
Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work) Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
Quick learner, motivated self-starter
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
English spoken and written
Dutch is a plus
