A local Nigeria Bank is looking to hire a Chief Information Officer to be based in beautiful city of Lagos, Nigeria working alongside the CEO and other senior members of staff in driving the bank forward through strategic direction.As the Chief Information Officer, you must have desire and passion for Technology and it's innovation to support our business strategies. The successful candidate will have held senior roles within banking, as well holding all relevant qualifications in Information Technology or other related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the corporate strategy through the use and vision of technology
- Technical operations, direction and execution of strategic technology initiatives
- Financial planning and management
- A proven ability to recruit and develop talent, set expectations and manage performance
- Must have extensive experience collaborating with vendors and extensive professional network
- Liaise with board members
- Must have an eye for detail, able to quickly understand complex concepts and the inter-dependency of seemingly unrelated issues
