JOB SUMMARY:
Develops, modifies and maintains technical applications. Follows specifications for complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. Participates in other IT activities with other staff members.
In your initial assignment, you will be an integral member of the Ecommerce technical team as we look to implement new Ecommerce software to support our growing needs. Your principle responsibility will be implement the new Ecommerce package and design, code, and implement complex, complimentary software to support unique customers' E-commerce needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translates business and technical requirements into technical solution, whether building and/or purchasing the solution
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and implements high quality software solutions; specifically the complex web components
- Understands the full solution, system components, and data flows and knows how their portion contributes to the full solution
- Understands the SDLC and uses appropriately to deliver high quality solutions
- Leads and participates in code and testing plan walkthrus
- Contributes to and executes implementation plan and supports implementation as required
- Communicates with technical team to facilitate coordination of solution delivery and schedule alignment
- Partners closely with Architect and business users to deliver best software solutions
- Provides feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- B.S. Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Technology Stack tools including .Net, SQL server, C#, HTML5
- Experience building and/or maintaining web applications and services
- Experience with Unit Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing
- Experience with SDLC and/or Agile development methodology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
- Working knowledge of C++
- Working knowledge of Microsoft ERP packages
