Oracle E-business Project Manager
28/28 rotation contract

Oil and Gas sector

LOCATION: Algeria
PURPOSE:
The Oracle EBS Project Manager will provide full life cycle project management for the implementation of Oracle E-business suite products from the preparation of requirements list to the tender for implementation and therefore the implementation itself according to the constraints of cost, schedule and quality.

Applicants MUSThave the following;
- At least a basic level of French
- A strong track record of delivering Oracle E-business suite projects within a high pressure working environment
- Previous experience working rotation contract work, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Experience of leading and coaching foreign nationals (preference for previous work experience in Algeria or a similar cultural environment)
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hold all responsibility for identifying, describing, realizing expectations with respect to deployment schedules and ownership of Company processes to ensure successful delivery: specifically, the responsibility for contract review, budget assessment, planning, resourcing, requirements capture, solution design, configuration development, delivery, installation, acceptance testing, training and commissioning of the Oracle EBS
- Will prepare the requirements list (cahier de charge) and must have relevant experience and related tools
- Coordinate and supervise consultants and end-user departments' actions in relation to the implementation of Oracle software.
- Will setup the support organization and processes.
- Manages resources
- Manages a development team (direct or indirect) to ensure the deliverables of each implementation project.
- Manages deliverables
- Anticipates the forecast and peak activities
- Provides date for delivery for each project.
- Coordinates activities
- Has the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- Coordinates with the ITT domain and deployment teams the identification, specification, prioritization, delivery and testing of the implementations
- Reports Status
- Leads the weekly meetings
- Provides the periodic progress dashboards related to each project

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience of project management for Oracle software applications
- Strong knowledge of Oracle solutions and functionalities: Oracle setup, configuration and workflows experience, knowledge of Oracle forms and forms personalizations and knowledge of SQL for queries using Oracle E-business Suite database table structures
- Ability to technically understand objectives of end users Excellent knowledge of processes leading to sustainable software deployment projects
- Use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other PC-based tools reasonable technical knowledge of software and IT infrastructure would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of French and English languages is essential
- Knowledge of Oilfield terminology and business practices would be an advantage
- Good communication skills - will be interacting directly with the upper management, end users and consultants
- Able to manage end users expectations
- Able to negotiate issues and reach compromises where necessary
- Ability to communicate between technical and end user levels to deliver information at an appropriate level without losing meaning
- Track record of managing end users and project staff in different locations
- Possess drive and resolve to provide a high quality service
- Act independently without the need for constant monitoring
- Aptitude to motivate and direct the teams to find solutions to technical problems
- Good project planning, risk management and budget management skills
- Good facilitation skills, including scoping, requirements and solution design workshops

- For visa purposes, applicants must have a degree or at least 15 years relevant work experience
