We are currently recruiting for an VMware System Administrator to join their business in Spain.
Position Title: VMware System Administrator
Position Type: Contract

Responsibilities:
- Provide design, support, and administration of Windows/VMware
- Develop data back-up systems, processes, and procedures
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
- Provide production systems administration; and coordinate with database administrators
- Support the development of policies, procedures, and processes for both operations and customer facing operations.
- Installing/migrating clustered environments
- Responsible for architecture analysis, server installation, server administration, monitoring system performance, maintenance tuning, account & password management, capacity planning, documentation and root cause analysis of server technology
- Some understanding of Storage and SQL Server technologies will be advantageous
- Contrast experience into migration projects.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding and experience in virtualization (VMware) and storage (EMC, replication) technologies
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to produce concise documentation for either technical or non-technical audiences
- Some understanding of Storage and SQL Server technologies will be advantageous
- Contrast experience into migration projects
- English and Spanish language skills
