Senior Buyer/Consultant/London
A market leading PE backed business is looking for a Senior Buyer to spearhead the tendering, supplier selection and presentation phase of multiple RFP/RFQ's.
You will be supporting the development and creation of an organisational Price Book insuring value for money and return on investment is achieved across a number of key strategic categories including: Telecoms Infrastructure and Equipment, Electrical Components, Colocation and Site Management.
Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Buyer will be pivotal in ensuring high-level negotiations, complex bids and strategic sourcing is carried out in alignment to best practice.
The ideal candidate profile:
- Extensive experience of operating in an international direct buying role with focus on Equipment and Infrastructure - Telecoms experience would be beneficial
- Ability to identify potential new suppliers and work on numerous complex proposals/bids
- Track record of carrying out supplier evaluation and negotiations
- Experience of delivering presentations at board level
- Excellent supplier selection skills and able to work with multiple RFQ/RFP's simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable in communicating across all levels of a business
- Happy to work in a greenfield environment
