Senior Artist | China Contract 12-16 Months | Excellent Salary + Benefits
My Client, a leading Space/Sci-FI games studio are embarking on an adventure to China, and need to take a seriously talented Senior Artist along too. Having just completed a co-development deal with one of the biggest game companies in China. The brief is to build a brand new Sci-Fi IP in the East.
This team will consist of 40+ developers not including the outsourcers, for mobile this truly will be AAA! A once in a lifetime opportunity which could truly move your career forwards.
Senior Artist duties
Working alongside the Western Art Director on site, your focus will be to aid implementation of the creative vision across a team of Chinese artists. The role will require a mixture of excellent technical skill, a knowledge of mobile best practice and superb communication across a multi lingual team.
Skills and Requirements
* Multiple lead or senior art position on multiple mobile titles
* Experience of operating within a large team dynamic
* Excellent understanding of art pipelines for mobile platforms, a knowledge of Middleware, tools and best practice
* Excellent team communication skills that work for both cultures! (There are translators and several English speakers on the code team)
* Excellent cross discipline communication, and upwards communication with the stakeholders
* A deep understanding of AAA mobile and F2P games
