Software Engineer FUSE, Camel, Spring, ActiveMQ, Java, JavaEE, XML

The client is a large Financial Institution in Luxembourg looking for experienced Software Engineers (2) for contracts starting as follows:-

Role/Area:

  • join the AD Cash Settlement unit who deals with the delivery of Clearstream Settlement Interface System (CSIS) in the context of the Market Transformation Program (MTP/CSIS) and One Collateral Management System (1CMS/CSIS)

Tasks/Responsibilities Area:

  • produce Functional Specifications for the transformation of internal XML format into T2S ISO20022 format
  • produce and Review Technical Specifications
  • provide (senior) technical expertise on Jboss Fuse/Camel/Active MQ and EAP products
  • participate and support the application development activities
  • provide technical expertise in preparation of the automated test scenarios (Junit, D2SG)
  • develop enhancement requests on CSIS Core application and provide support during testing phases
  • deliver/support an automated continuous integration framework for a set of applications (Jenkins/SonarQube)
  • ensure daily progress reporting
  • interact with the functional, development and testing teams in Prague and Luxembourg

Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • strong technical expertise in FUSE, Camel, Spring, ActiveMQ, Java, JavaEE, XML.
  • good understanding of Enterprise Integration pattern (EIP), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), RESTful web service and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts
  • good knowledge of Jboss/Oracle products
  • ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
  • at least a 10-years experience in the development of critical applications is expected for senior position

Additional Domain & Business Skills:

  • knowledge of JSF andJavascript frameworks (Angularjs, jQuery)
  • experience in Settlement and Custody payment processing is considered as an advantage
  • ability to work in an international environment
  • very strong command of English is expected.
