DevOps Support - Daily Rate Contract
Experience Required:
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services - see details below
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Supporting physical/virtual Linux Servers hosted on VMServer farms
- Writing technical/operational documents
- Experience in working in large data centre environment
- Apache, TomCat experience also useful as well as experience of monitoring tools (SolarWind, Nagios, etc)
