Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded C, RTOS, Wireless Comms, Eclipse, Reading, BerkshireTHE ROLE:
You will be working on a Wireless Communication product that has tight timescales & deliveries. For this role you must have a 'can do' attitude and be comfortable working to deadlines.
This is an opportunity to work on a cutting edge technology product that will be used by millions of people within the UK.
From a technical perspective, you should be an experienced Embedded C programmer, who has RTOS experience. The product you will be working on has a constrained memory environment.
You will be programming to the MISRA C coding standard. Experience with this is desirable, but experience working to other guidelines will be considered.
Eclipse experience, and Comms protocol experience (i.e. working on Telecom/ Radio products or with Transport protocols such as TCP) is desirable.
On this project you will be working with some talented Engineers, who work hard, but also enjoy themselves.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Embedded C
2. RTOS (Free RTOS or Safe RTOS is desirable)
3. Ability to write to Coding Standards (MISRA C is desirable)
4. Comm protocol experience (3G/ 4G/ TCP/ Bluetooth/ Zigbee)
5. Eclipse (desirable)
6. Agile
7. 'Make it happen' attitude. Ability to work to tight deadlines
