SYSTEMS ENGINEER, DEPLOYMENT SPECIALIST & INCIDENT SOLVER TELEPHONY (CTI), GENESYS 7.6 AND 8.X

The department is responsible for the operational availability of the applications and scheduling systems on the different platforms (Mainframe, Windows, Unix). We ensure 2nd level support for business applications in the domain of Pay, Cards and Securities and for technical applications ao. Database maintenance, Control-M system and perform backup/restore activities on Unix and Wintel Servers. We are also responsible for the installation of the schedules for these applications in the Quality Assurance and Production environment. In addition to this we provide tools and give support to perform mass updates in the scheduling environment, provide support on the analysing of the scheduling jobs, are gatekeepers on the JCL standards and perform activities that are defined as cross application services team.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

We are actively searching for a Senior Systems Engineer - Deployment Specialist & Incident Solver Telephony CTI - Genesys 7.6 and 8.x

Your mission will be to act as Deployment Specialist and Incident Solver

  • to ensure that all deployments are carried out on schedule, are fully deployed, implemented and functioning in the operational environments.
  • to communicate with all stakeholders regarding the progress of the deployment following the run-book.

  • to find and implement solutions in order to solve incidents.
  • to document the resolution progress and the applied solutions.
  • to Investigate, analyse and document incident cause, and solution
  • to evaluate with the team responsible if incident has to be escalated to Incident Manager (IMod)

You will also be involved in deployment and configuration of upgrade Genesys system. A strong Genesys 8.x knowledge is required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in Computer science
  • Certification: ITIL knowledge is a plus
  • Languages: English. French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in telephony (CTI) Banking applications knowledge
  • Creative and eager to learn

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Mandatory

You will be able to understand and execute technical run books (Genesys in Quality Assurance and Production). You have the technical skills to implement monitoring on components in CTI technology and specifically in Genesys 8 migrations, including dynamic routing strategy development

Technical skills:

  • Good Knowledge Genesys Framework.
  • Good understanding and good knowledge of IP Telephony, Networking, and Enterprise Application flows and protocols. Ability to analyze and solution architecture knowledge.
  • Knowledge of different OS (Windows/Unix, Linux).
  • Tomcat, Oracle, IBM WebSphere

Preferable

Experience in an operational IT environment in a large company
