Endeavour Recruitment has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Cobol Developer. The role is based in Cork and applicants should have previous experience of working in Finance/Banking or Insurance. This is a 6-month contract at the day rate of €340.00.
Candidates should expect to be technically challenged on this project where you will be required to meet tight deadlines and liaise with all stakeholders.
Essential Skills:-
- 5 years + Cobol programming
- Previous experience with IBM Mainframes using VSE
- Proficient use of CICS, JCL and VSAM
Beneficial Skills:-
- MS Access and MS Excel
- Batch Programming
- Experience in Financial Software
- Inter Test for CICS, Easytrieve and Redwood Explorer would be an advantage
