SQL Business Intelligence Developer, Gloucester, ContractSQL Business intelligence specialist developer is required by my banking client who is based in Gloucester. My clients need for a strong SQL BI developer is because they are looking to expand their team at the moment to deliver a project that has been agreed which will fund more work next year.
This is a very strong team who are responsible for the technical design, construction, delivery and support of the banks data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. They are known for how they work with the business well. The team itself has been building strong scalable solutions within this area for a while and by having an additional SQL business intelligence developer they will be able to build out this new data warehouse platform to provide unique reports to the rest of the business.
This SQL business intelligence niche team is looking to expand due to the investment that this project offers the business, which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver pure innovative technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL business intelligence developer who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack with an emphasis around SSAS however, they are still utilising the SSIS and some SSRS technology as well.
This role will require the SQL business intelligence developer to work on various areas of the build and will have exposure to liaise directly with the business on a daily basis.
This is a contract role with competitive day rates up to £500pd maximum. Essential Skills
- Strong SQL Business Intelligence development experience including SQL 2012, 2014
- Current exposure to the investment banking or retail banking market
- Proven delivery of T-SQL programming along with SSIS and SSAS cube creation
- Understanding of data warehousing principles and design, ideally dimensional modelling.
