IP Routing Engineer - Routing, Support, Network, Cisco, Juniper, ASIC, PFE
One of the world's leading global vendors in networking products are actively seeking a IP Routing Engineer with experience in advance routing support experience to join their growing customer support team based in Amsterdam. Joining the team on a 12 month contract with the view to extended, this is an exciting opportunity for candidates with exceptional skills in Juniper's latest routing products, 3rd level customer network support and PFE concepts and troubleshooting.
The responsibilities of the IP Network Engineer will be:
- Handle high priority issues for a limited number of premium service cusotmers.
- Take ownership of customers issues and ensure prompt effective resolution.
- Service restoration by systematic problem solving.
For this position the successful IP Routing Engineer will possess the following skills:
- Degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science or Informatics with a strong Computer Network affinity.
- Extensive knowledge on latest Juniper products including MX and PTX Routers.
- Proven track record in 3rd line support within customer environments.
The successful IP Routing Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a long term contract in a leading technology business supporting premium service customers.
