Corporate Pensions Investment Manager

The key focus of this role is the interpretation and application of regulation, legislation and industry
guidance as it applies to corporate pension fund proposition and on-going management of both the bundled and unbundled fund range.

Whilst primarily focused on Corporate Pensions stakeholders the technical knowledge of this role is valuable in other parts of the organisation so the stakeholder group will at times be quite broad across other firm's product lines.

The role is responsible for the fund proposition across both the fund platform (FDS) and corporate pensions and must ensure that:
* Fund range is fit for purpose and meets TPR investment principles, DWP guidance, FSA regulation and
industry standards
* Due diligence and on-going monitoring of fund range is delivered
* Corporate pensions fund governance is defined, agreed, implemented and then managed.

The Fund Delivery Service (FDS) platform is managed under this role, this includes leading the client
management aspects of that and also supporting the wind down of the system and transition across to new platforms.

Purpose of the role
To develop new fund propositions for the firms corporate pensions product offering and manage
existing fund propositions including pricing and analysis
>To make changes to existing fund propositions in response to market or > regulatory changes
To provide technical advice to internal stakeholders, internal projects and EBCs on corporate pensions
investments
>Provide direction, insight and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure business integrity and compliance
with legislation, regulation and industry best practice
>End to end responsibility for the corporate pension fund platform (FDS), including relationship
management with EBC consultancies and the transition of the FDS platform
>Manage the rationalisation of corporate pensions funds, taking account of regulation drivers, commercials and retention strategy
> Support the Distribution channel on retention strategy, attend client meetings when required.

Significant experience of fund proposition
> development
> Experience of fund pricing
> Experience of project management
> Significant experience within a regulated sales environment
> Experience in a product development/management environment, within Financial Services
> Expert level knowledge of life and pensions products and markets
> Expert level knowledge of financial services, regulatory and legislatory frameworks
