Finance Analyst - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate
A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team in Warwick as part of their core Finance Function.
Job Purpose
To contribute to the maintenance of the General Ledger in accordance with Accounting policies and control framework. Includes the integrity of data flows from interfaced systems, month and year end close activities, reconciliations, chart of account maintenance and the management of cash and banking and fixed assets activities.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage the close cycle in a timely way including the efficient and accurate maintenance of feeder system interfaces into the General ledger.
* Lead and oversee the maintenance of Chart of accounts, changes to master data, cost and profit centre structures and WBS elements.
* Manage the Fixed Asset Register to ensure a robust Fixed Asset and depreciation accounting service is delivered (including maintenance of all necessary governance, controls, FAR maintenance and interest capitalisation) and the approval and implementation of any required changes to depreciation policy are included.
* Provide cash flow forecasting, emergency payments and clearing of payment files. Maintain bank mandates, authorised signatories, authority limits, C series etc.
* Undertake critical balance sheet reconciliations including control accounts, fixed assets and bank accounts. Perform intercompany reconciliations and settlement of current accounts.
