Description
Our client, a leading British Defence and Aerospace company are currently recruiting an IPT Lead/Programme Manager to be based in Derby on an initial 12 month contract.
With in the role you will create, implement and maintain a suite of Design/Make programme plans that provide comprehensive control & visibility for all Integrated Project Team tasks. You will have close engagement with the commodity suppliers, offload houses ensuring timely flow down of requirements through Statements of Work, contracting and monitoring programme deliverables and milestones.
Key Requirements:
1. Good knowledge of design engineering and related processes, and a proven ability to plan, integrate, manage & deliver multiple tasks using multi-disciplinary teams.
2. A strong background in Programme Management principles and techniques, and a proven ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams.
3. A sound knowledge and experience with product change, risk management, budget control, problem solving and unit cost processes is required for this role
