Cerner Population Health Management Senior Information Technology PMP Certified Project manager Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA Population Health PM Contract

12 Month Contract Position - Interviewing immediately

We are looking to contract a Senior IT Project Manager to co-lead the Cerner Population Health project, with a primary focus on Population Health and other EHR projects, throughout their life cycle in a Matrix environment. This contracted position will report to the Manager of the Clinical Applications and up to the Director of Ambulatory Services and Business Analytics.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects within IT from requirements to project closure. This role will be accountable for overall project or multiple work streams including project plan, scope, cost, work schedule, design & build and contractual deliverables. Also, manages all aspects of the assigned projects, including technical implementation, cost, schedule, scope, stakeholders and reporting.

The right candidate needs to be a strong project manager and leader. We are looking for a self-­ directed, fast learner PM with excellent project management skills and demonstrated expertise in motivating teams. Ideal candidate should be willing to learn, be mentored and always keep an open mind. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) well with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have five {5} years of Project Management experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Able to effectively investigate, gather and summarize information.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR or other Enterprise EMR preferred; Ambulatory and/or Population Health in a multi setting organization
  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have experience managing multiple projects. Leads and directs the work of others within a Matrix environment.
  • Customer-oriented work ethic and ability to foster a sense of teamwork across all members of the project team extending to the customer.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and foster teamwork.
  • Analytics experience in the Population Health/Ambulatory setting required
  • Budget/Finance management.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program and five {5} years of relevant IT experience.
