Description
Our client, a leading IT Services Provider, is looking for a Front End Developer to join their team.
This is a contract position based in Bristol initially running until January 2017.
The ideal candidate:
You should be familiar with developing single page apps, but would love to try some more experimental stuff.
You have been using a MVC framework (eg Backbone) and have some experience with Angular, Ember, Knockout, React, etc.
You feel proud about unit test coverage and have experience with JS build tools (Grunt, Gulp or webpack).
You are familiar with CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS) and the CSS3 features (esp. Flexbox). Having worked with a large CSS codebase already would be ideal.
You know how to build Windows 8 or multi-platform apps with something like Cordova. You have some familiarity with TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a typescript/JavaScript/html5 based web and Win 8 app for specific purpose demos using:
- a MVC framework (eg backbone)
- CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS) and the CSS3 features (esp. Flexbox)
- Develop quick experimental prototypes andPoCs for:
- Managing large IT infrastructures
- Visualising highly complex large datasets (eg infrastructure logs)
