Senior Technical Data Analyst Required - 6 month Project - Dublin City CentreJob Title: Senior Technical Data Analyst
The Contract: 6 months
Location: Dublin City Centre
Are you interested in working with huge unstructured data? A global high tech firm in Dublin City Centre requires a Senior Technical Data Analyst to work on projects involving payment systems and needs someone with the following experience:
What is required?
Real analytical and quantitative ability is key
Experience in analysing large, complex and unstructured datasets is vital (At least 5 years')
Experience with payment systems
Good working knowledge of data mining and data visualisation.
Experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.), Python, Hadoop, MapReduce etc.
Experience with stat packages such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, etc.
Evidence of applied problem solving using analytics.
Assimilates data quickly in order to conduct root cause analysis.
The role also involves an element of Project Management so you would also need experience in the following:
Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the engineering team.
Ability to collaborate and share initiatives in developing & innovating analytical solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse stakeholder group.
Project Management skills
Big4/ Former Consulting experience/training is a plus.
This is an excellent contract opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to work in a hugely successful high tech firm with the latest technologies. The initial contract is for 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension.
You must be able to demonstrate your experience working with huge datasets and payment systems to be considered.
