Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops and maintains project controls policies, procedures, processes and documents for distribution & use throughout the company.
* Develops requirements and processes for effective project scheduling that allow project management to view the impact of changes in schedule on the entire project timeline.
* Contributes to the development of project scheduling and tracking tools and systems.
* Develops templates for the consistent reporting of project status and results.
* Contributes to the evaluation and mitigation of risks for major projects.
* Assists with proposal reviews for all major projects.
* Coordinates periodic project review meetings between company management and project management staff.
* Prepares and delivers training on project management principles and their application to company projects.
* Provides a methodology for recognizing and capturing opportunities for change management.
* Works with Project Accounting to develop ERP system processes to accurately calculate, recognize and report project costs.
* As needed and assigned, serves as the project controls engineer for active projects.
* Prepares project status summary information for presentation to senior management.
