My public sector client are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner. The organisation has seven board directors with a finance business partner assigned to each.
Role responsibilities:
The Senior Management Accountant and Business Partner role is to provide advice, support and challenge to budget holders and Senior managers about financial performance based on reports at cost centre and directorate level.
To deliver budgets and forecasting, assisting with the production of the annual Business Plan and longer term plans.
To work with the business to understand results, trends and key performance indicators.
To consider and analyse the impact of decisions, providing helpful and meaningful financial advice.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication skills imperative for this role.
The ability to see the bigger picture - be able to look at the consequences and long term affect.
Experience delivering at pace and with meeting strict deadlines.
Solid analytical skills
Experienced with Oracle Financials and SAP.
Ideally experience within Central Government and knowledge the processes and procedures.
